2. Renter’s Contingent Liability Insurance (RCLI) – $35/day

3. Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) – $20/day

Definitions

  • Named Warranty Holder is the Rental Agency that provides the renter the vehicle and as further defined in the policy.
  • Certificate Holder is the person shown on the rental contract or any other authorized driver as named on the rental contract.
  • Rental Start Date is the start date as shown on the agreement and must coincide with selection of CDW.
  • Rental Return Date is the date listed on the rental agreement or the date the vehicle is actually returned.
  • Exotic Vehicle(s) includes, but are not limited to: Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lancia, Lotus, Maserati, Pininfarina and Rolls Royce and are excluded.
  • Actual Cash Value is the purchase price less depreciation of the vehicle.

What is the limit?

This product can be sold on vehicles over $35,000, however damage over that level will be the responsibility of the renter/driver.

Coverage not provided for loss due to:

A) A contract violation by the renter, or any other driver, authorized or unauthorized.

B) Any vehicles other than private passenger cars and authorized vans or R.V.

vehicle is not listed on the Rental Agreement as an

Authorized Driver.

D) If similar coverage is afforded by any valid and collectible insurance, other than the renter personal auto policy.

E) Failure to follow the appropriate claims reporting procedures.

F) Single vehicle collision or Damage to any other vehicle.

G) Participation in motor sport or motor racing competition and/or practice.

H) Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, whether prescribed or not.

I) While committing any unlawful acts.

J) Vehicles used For-Hire.
The purchase of any of the insurance described in this brochure is not required in order to rent a vehicle. The policies may provide a duplication of coverage already provided by a renter’s personal insurance

How to Report A Claim CDW CLAIMS PROCESSES

Please go to: bonzah.com/company/claims to directly report a claim. All claims on CDW must be made immediately upon notice of the incident or accident giving rise to the claim. The CDW Contract is for reimbursement of covered claims through reimbursement to the Renter, proof of payment is required.

All claims must include:

  1. Copy of rental agreement
  2. Copy of vehicle registration
  3. Copy of the Driver’s License
  4. Copy of the Police Report**
  5. Copy of the estimate of damage.
  6. A written, detailed report of the incident from the renter
  7. **Police Reports are required for a claim submission to be considered for reimbursement

Renter’s Contingent Liability Insurance

Renter’s Contingent Liability Insurance is coverage which acts in the place of a primary automobile policy for the renter of a vehicle who does not maintain a personal automobile policy. The limits of insurance are as shown on the Certificate of Insurance and will correspond to the minimum financial responsibility in the appropriate jurisdiction should an accident occur.

Coverage

The coverage provided under this policy shall be extended to all individuals who rent an automobile from the named rental car company or website
who elect to accept Renter’s Contingent Liability Insurance coverage on the face of the rental agreement identified above prior to the rental, paythe appropriate premium for the coverage and are listed as the renter or as an additional driver on the rental agreement for the term of the rental as stated on the rental agreement. The rental term may be extended, but is not to exceed thirty days.

Who is An Insured?

Protection under the Renter’s Contingent Liability Insurance Policy is only provided to those drivers who are specifically named on the original Rental Agreement and who have elected to purchase the insurance coverage.

The purchase of any of the coverage described herein may duplicate, void or alter existing coverage. Rental company employees cannot interpret or advise you on what the policy may or may not cover. Renter’s Contingent Liability Insurance

Renter’s Contingent Liability Insurance is coverage which acts in the place of a primary automobile policy for the renter of a vehicle who does not maintain a personal automobile policy. The

No coverage extends to any driver who is not specifically named on the original Rental Agreement, even if that individual had the permission of an insured.

The Minimum Financial Requirements, as described by the statutes of the state of jurisdiction over
the accident, are the MAXIMUM limits of coverage provided.

Conditions

Coverages hereunder are voided, do not provide protection and have no force and effect under the following conditions:

A. The Renter’s failure to pay for charges due under the Rental Agreement in accordance with the terms of the Rental Agreement;

B. Use or operation of the vehicle in violation of the terms of the Rental Agreement, including, without limitation, participation in any speed contest, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, driving the vehicle beyond the geographic limitations stated in the Rental Agreement;

C. Wherethedriveroftheautomobileatthetime of loss is not a renter or additional driver specifically authorized in the Rental Agreement.

D. Obtainingthevehiclebyfraudor misrepresentation;

E. Useofthevehiclewhileundertheinfluenceof narcotics, alcohol or drugs for any reason, whether recreational or prescription and whether prescribed or not.

The Insurer will pay all sums an insured is legally obligated to pay as damages because of bodily injury or property damage to which this insurance applies, provided that:

1) The bodily injury or property damage results from an accident involving a rental vehicle;collectible insurance.

2) The accident occurs while the rental agreement is in effect and that the rental agreement becomes effective during the policy period; and

3) Renter’s contingent liability insurance has been elected by the renter at the origin of the rental agreement.

Separate limits of insurance apply for bodily injury and property damage liability, as shown on the Certificate of Insurance. The limit of insurance for each rental agreement is as follows:

1) The most we will pay for all damages resulting from bodily injury to any one person caused by any one accident is the state minimumfinancial requirement for one bodily injury in the jurisdiction in which the accident occurs.

2) Subject to the limit for each person, the most we will pay for all damages resulting from bodily injury caused by any one accident is the state minimum financial requirement for all bodily injury in the jurisdiction in which the accident occurs.

3) The most we will pay for all property damage caused by any one accident is the state minimum financial requirement for property damage in the jurisdiction in which the accident occurs.

All bodily injury and property damage resulting from continuous or repeated exposure to substantially.

If you purchase Supplemental Liability Insurance or Personal Accident/Personal Effects protections, various credit card insurance death benefits could become “excess insurance coverage,” meaning that any benefits due are available only if the amount sought in a claim exceeds the policy limits of any other applicable insurance purchased by cardholders, or those benefits could become void. You may duplicate coverage already provided by your personal automobile insurance policy, homeowner’s insurance policy, personal liability insurance policy or other sources of coverage.

Passengers are protected only while in, boarding or alighting from designated vehicle.

Accidental Medical Expense provides You, Your passengers and Your immediate family with $1,000.00 of 24-hour accidental medical expense coverage while in, boarding or alighting from the designated vehicle for emergency medical expenses and ambulance fees.

Personal Effects Insurance

Personal Effects Coverage provides limited coverage for Your personal belongings from loss or damage caused by theft of, damage to, or accident involving your Rental or Shared Vehicle. Personal Effect Coverage provides reimbursement for the actual cash value of the items subject to certain maximum, deductibles, limitations and exclusions.

Personal Effects Coverage protects Your personal belongings as the primary Renter or Sharer and those of Your immediate family traveling with You. The maximum Personal Effects Coverage Amount per rental contract is $525.00, which is subject to a per claim deductible of $25.00. The aggregate limit is $500 per rental contract. Coverage is subject to one claim per rental contract period.

The items not covered are: electronics such as, but nor limited to, cell phones, smart phones, tablets and computers, securities, currency, deeds, artificial teeth or bridges, documents, tickets, eyeglasses/contact lens, prosthetic limbs, automobiles, automobile equipment, animals, motorcycles, motorcycle equipment, motorized boats, motors, other conveyances, perishables, bullion, household furniture. Loss or damage occurring through wear and tear or gradual deterioration, insects or vermin, inherent vice or damage, and "mysterious disappearance" are not covered.

Exclusions

If You violate the terms/conditions or use restrictions of the rental agreement, coverage is void and no coverage is provided.

If You fail to accept any of the coverage at the start of the Rental or Sharing agreement.

If there is a failure to pay the charges due and if the vehicle is obtained through misrepresentation.

For fines, penalties, punitive or exemplary damages.

Also excluded is any claim arising out of a Suicide or a Suicide attempt, intentionally self-inflicted injuries or any attempt at it; sickness, disease or bacterial infection; infections which occur as a result of an injury; bacterial infection; attempt to commit a felony; participation or engaging in an act of violence, civil disobedience, civil disorder, riot or insurrection; injury sustained while the covered person is riding in or on any aircraft; hernia unless resulting from a covered accident; participation in professional team sports or other professional athlete activities; being under the influence of any intoxicant or narcotic unless administered on the advice of a physician; dental treatment except as the result of injury to sound natural teeth; replacement eyeglasses or eye examination for the correction of vision; pregnancy or complications thereof or resulting childbirth.
