The right car for the canyon
When snow is falling in Little Cottonwood Canyon, UDOT's traction law (SR-210) requires AWD or 4WD with M+S or 3PMSF-rated tires, or chains on two-wheel-drive — and the canyon does close to cars that don't comply. Most of our 38-car fleet is AWD or 4WD SUVs: Mazda CX-5s and CX-30s, Toyota RAV4s, a Subaru Crosstrek and Ascent, and a Toyota 4Runner. Book the AWD, skip the chain-up turnout, and drive straight to the resort lots.

Ski-season workers, travel staff, and families between cars use the weekly ($350) and monthly ($1,400) rates — one booking, extend as needed, maintenance included on monthly terms. Every rental carries 150 miles per day, which covers canyon runs and valley errands with room to spare.
Renting for longer? See the weekly rental guide (from $350/week) and the monthly rental guide (from $1,400/month — and rentals over 30 days skip Utah's 9.5% motor vehicle rental tax).
