Weekly Car Rentals in Salt Lake City: From $350/Week
Daily rental rates add up fast. If you need a car in Salt Lake City for more than a few days — for work, for rideshare driving, or while your own car is sorted out — a weekly rental is almost always the smarter math. At Driver Valley, weekly rentals start at $350/week with straightforward pricing and no credit card required.
The weekly tiers, explained
Driver Valley keeps weekly pricing simple with three tiers:
- $350/week — standard cars. The workhorse tier: dependable sedans and SUVs for everyday driving around the valley.
- $375/week — Yaris class. Compact, fuel-sipping cars that make sense when most of your miles are city miles and gas costs matter.
- $400/week — premium. Our newest cars, including brand-new Mazda CX-30s, for drivers who want a late-model ride for the week.
Compare that to paying a daily rate seven times over. Daily rentals at Driver Valley start from $53/day, which is fair for a short trip — but a week at the daily rate runs well past the weekly price for the same car. If your plans stretch past a few days, book the week. Our fleet has 30 cars across SUVs, sedans, and minivans, plus a Honda Ridgeline truck and a Tesla Model 3, so the weekly tiers cover everything from a solo work week to a family that needs three rows.
Who rents by the week in Salt Lake City
Rideshare drivers are some of our most regular weekly renters, and rideshare drivers are welcome at Driver Valley. A weekly rental keeps you earning while your own car is in the shop, or lets you test driving full-time before committing to a car payment of your own. The flat weekly price makes your costs predictable, which matters when the car is your income.
People between cars — after a sale, an accident, or a move — use a weekly rental as a bridge that doesn't lock them into a long contract. Visiting workers and relocators in town for a project or a house hunt get a car for the whole stay without airport-counter daily pricing. And families hosting visitors rent a minivan for the week instead of playing airport shuttle in two cars.
Mileage: what's included and what isn't
Every Driver Valley rental includes 150 miles per day — on a weekly rental, that's 1,050 miles across the week, enough for commuting, errands, and most rideshare shifts around the Salt Lake valley. If you go over, additional miles are $0.60 per mile. For genuinely long-distance weeks, an unlimited-miles option is available at $52/day, so you can pick the structure that matches your plans instead of watching the odometer.
Deposits, payment, and insurance — no fine-print games
You do not need a credit card to rent by the week. Driver Valley accepts debit cards, Cash App, Venmo, and Chime. A refundable deposit of $200, $350, or $500 applies depending on the car, and the deposit is waived when you add CDW coverage. Rentals run a two-day minimum, so weekly bookings fit easily.
Insurance is not included in the weekly price — we state that up front rather than surprising you at pickup. Coverage is available as an add-on through GEICO or through our in-house insurance, and for rideshare drivers especially, sorting that out before the week starts is part of a clean rental.
Pickup near the airport
Driver Valley is at Park N' Jet, 2100 N Temple Street in Salt Lake City, about five minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, with free shuttle pickup from the terminal. Flying in for a week-long stay, or sending a visiting relative to pick up their car, is painless. Local renters can come straight to the lot. With five-star reviews from our renters, the weekly program is built on people who come back the next time they need a car — and bring the car back to us because the pricing was exactly what was promised.
