Driver Valley rents cars in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. This page explains what information we collect when you use drivervalley.com, why we collect it, and who we share it with. Questions: [email protected] or (801) 450-9765.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account or book. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us.
- Booking information — the car and dates you choose, pickup or delivery address, extras you select, and your driver's license number, which is required to rent and is verified after you book.
- Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. Your card details go directly to them; we never see or store full card numbers. We receive confirmation of payment and the amount paid.
How we use it
- To create and manage your account and your rentals
- To verify your driver's license and eligibility to rent
- To communicate with you about your booking, pickup, return, and payments
- To meet legal, tax, and insurance requirements
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run the rental: with Stripe and PayPal to process payments, with identity/insurance verification services to confirm your license and coverage, and when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and storage
The site stores your account and booking progress in your own browser so the booking flow works. We do not run advertising trackers.
Your choices
You may ask us to correct or delete your account information at any time by emailing [email protected]. Some booking and payment records must be kept for legal and tax reasons.
