Car Rental in Salt Lake City With No Credit Check

Driver Valley does not run a credit check — at all. If you have a valid driver's license, you can rent a car in Salt Lake City with us, pay with a debit card, Cash App, Venmo, Chime, PayPal or a credit card, and put down one flat $50 refundable deposit. No credit score pull, no credit card requirement, no giant hold on your account. We are a local Utah company at Park N' Jet - Mountain Lot, 2200 W North Temple, about five minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport.
No credit check means exactly that
Most rental counters treat your credit as the price of admission: a credit card in your name, a large deposit hold, sometimes a credit inquiry before they will hand over keys. That shuts out a lot of working people — gig drivers building a credit history, newcomers to the country, anyone who banks with Cash App or Chime instead of a traditional bank.
Driver Valley works differently. We never check your credit, because your credit score says nothing about how you will treat a car. What we ask for is simple: a valid driver's license (from any US state or your home country), a card on file for the booking, and the $50 refundable deposit. That is the whole gate.
What renting here actually looks like
- No credit check and no credit card required — debit, Cash App, Venmo, Chime and PayPal all work.
- One flat $50 refundable deposit, charged with your booking and returned when the car comes back in the same condition with the same fuel level. Buy the collision damage waiver (CDW) and the deposit is waived entirely.
- Weekly rentals from $350/week and monthly rentals available — one booking covers weeks of work or a long stay.
- 150 miles per day included with every rental.
- Rent from age 18 with a valid license, and there is no young-driver fee — the big brands mostly require 21+ and add roughly $19–$27 a day for drivers under 25.
- Gig drivers welcome: deliver for DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart or Walmart Spark in your rental. The driver for the app must be the named renter, and coverage bought on our site covers rental use only — app drivers rely on their own policy plus whatever the app provides.
What you need to bring
A valid driver's license — a learner's permit is not a license and does not work. If your license is from another country and not in English, bringing your passport or an International Driving Permit alongside it makes pickup faster. You will also save your license details on your booking, sign the rental agreement online, and keep a card on file. Then you pick up at Park N' Jet - Mountain Lot: from the airport terminal, exit by the Starbucks, turn right to column 10A and ride the free Parking Spot shuttle to the lot.

Do you really run no credit check?
Really. Driver Valley never pulls or checks your credit when you rent. We ask for a valid driver's license, a card on file for the booking, and a flat $50 refundable deposit — that is all.
Can I rent a car in Salt Lake City without a credit card?
Yes. You can pay with a debit card, Cash App, Venmo, Chime, PayPal or a credit card. A card stays on file for every booking, but it does not have to be a credit card.
How much is the deposit?
A flat $50, refundable when the car is returned in the same condition and with the same fuel level as pickup. If you buy the collision damage waiver (CDW) when you book, the deposit is waived.
Can I rent at 18 or under 25?
Yes. Driver Valley rents from age 18 with a valid driver's license, and we charge no young-driver fee at any age. The major brands mostly require drivers to be 21 or older and typically add about $19–$27 per day for under-25 renters.
Can I drive for DoorDash or other apps in the rental?
Yes — delivery and rideshare drivers are welcome. The person driving for the app must be the named renter on the agreement. Coverage purchased on our site covers rental use only, so when you drive for an app you rely on your own insurance plus the app's coverage.
